Welcome to Finber Lodge

We are the Charles family, Jess, Brett, and our two grown-up daughters Abby and Hannah along with the dogs; Finn the Bernese Mountain Dog and Bertie the Spaniel, hence the name Finber Lodge. As a family, we share a passion for skiing, mountain biking, staying active, and exploring the breathtaking mountain trails with our dogs.

We love nothing better than spending time with friends and family and enjoying the beautiful alpine scenery, the traditional feel of Les Gets, and the relaxed nature of the French Alps.

What brought us to Les Gets…? We had always planned on relocating from the UK to France and dreamed of owning our own hospitality business. However, it was a question of where and when. After several holidays along the French Alps, we decided that Les Gets with beautiful summer and winter seasons and its proximity to Lake Geneva and the Swiss and Italian borders, was the place that ticked every box.

We started looking for a property to buy in early 2022 and in October of that year, the dream became a reality when we purchased Finber Lodge; a sustainable and high-quality new build chalet set in the peaceful location of Les Gets.

The building work is currently ongoing, though our vision for the look and feel of Finber Lodge is already in place. The classic alpine wood and natural stone exterior will be complemented by an elegant yet homely modern interior with warm touches of colour and texture. Large windows will allow an abundance of natural light, while the large balconies and terraced garden area will provide a relaxing space where guests can enjoy the beautiful views over the valley.
